Unlearn jealousy
You are withholding praise and encouragement for those that have learnt from you. You are accustomed to being the receiver of compliments, applaud and hand shakes, but when it became your turn to do the same to others, you withheld your well wishes. You are comfortable with being at the top that you have forgotten to continue looking down to give a hand to those at the bottom. Unless your ill habit of jealousy, that's preventing you to congratulate and encourage others with a pure heart and genuine smile is unlearned, your influential leadership is fruitless. Don't feel sidelined when the spotlight moves, you still have your shine, learn from how the sun, stars and moon collaborate, all adorn the sky with beauty of light at appropriate time, without fighting for attention.
Recognize others
When encouraging others, stop always making yourself an example. It's great to mention others before yourself. You well know: `don't regard yourself than you ought to, for those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Share your experiences
As influential as you are, those who are inspired by your success long to hear of your learning curves. You identify with others when you share the pains you went through during your grinding. Your shared experiences shout to us 'you will overcome and pull through'. Don't despise your mistakes, without them you would not have stood up with a never say die attitude.
Pray more for others than yourself
Praying for others to me, is the highest point of self actualization. Its a mind blowing display of influence, though the said people won't know but God will hear your prayer and show his favour to them. Praying for others needs before yours is having an understanding of a selfless person, regarding another person's needs before yours. Prayer for others is the deepest kind of love. The most amazing mountain moving love is the thought of someone talking to God about me.
Forgive
Don't be like me. I am not a positive influence, but as I trust you are, new generation, forgive. Give before you are asked, that is the amazing act of selflessness. Give without expecting anything in return. Give it forward, fore-give, forgive and shame the evil one because he wants you burdened by an unnecessary grudge and stupid hate. Withholding forgiveness is imprisonment, so break your self free.
Love
Love without reciprocation. It's fine, day dream unreasonable love and come back to reality to give insurmountable love. Love so much that nothing rejects you, even a remote with one battery. Give so much love that black coffee without sugar taste sweet. May your love be soo powerful that it does not spill water from a bucket with a hole. May your love be soo deep that you are able to call with a prepaid balance of R0. 00 on your cell. Love so much that your love is like solar power to the sick, cold homeless and desolate hungry. May your radical love stretch R20 buy as much as R200. May it revive the faith of the unbeliever and instill new faith on the faithless. Don't hold back your love due to past hurts. May your love make hearts as cold as Pharaohs tender and make those who feel undeserving or unlovable, like I, have hope again. May your pure love rub off on those you meet, even those you just merely go past. May your love sow peace, sow hope, sow righteousness and points us to Chirst for Salvation.
I believe positive attitude resembles love, cause I've never come across a person with negative attitude, truly loving anything. God displayed this bone shifting, nerve twitching and mind blowing kind of love. Be that new generation.
